Bob Edwards -  Catering '52-'53

I stayed in the 'Merch' for eleven years and then came ashore where I worked construction until 1967.  My wife Norma, my three sons and I then emigrated to Fremantle where we stayed until 1973.  Norma was very homesick so we moved back to Birkenhead but we became restless after a few years so we took our now FIVE kids and emigrated to Fox Creek, Alberta.  I worked as an operator in the Chevron Gas Plant for twenty three years until I took early retirement.
